His photographs regularly appear in magazines such as “National Geographic” (USA), the “BBC Wildlife Magazine” (UK), “Audubon Magazine” (USA), “Lonely Planet”, “Altair” and “The New York Times”, in addition to many more.
To those that want to check his important CV and his amazing work, please check Photosfera, his online platform.
What we will be doing?
Iñaki describe the workshop as: “The way in which the photographer decides to frame a concrete image makes the difference between a mediocre and a good photograph. It is much more interesting to work on this, and think through compositional resources, than to acquire a perfect technique and apply it only to images with no message. This is an agreeable morning workshop in a natural park near Barcelona, in which we will work on photographic composition”.
At the beggining of the workshops Iñaki will talk about the importance of the composition in nature and landscape photography and later we will walk by the coast to Vilanova i la Geltrú. We will look for interesting spots on the beaches and in the coves. Intersection of mountain, sand, stones and the Mediterranean sea creates a beautiful and picturesque route with plenty of photographic opportunities.
For those attendants familiarised with mountain routes, this walk is the a short piece of the GR22 – day 22b. Find more info and GPS co-ordinates at Wikiloc.
Once we will arrived to Vilanova we will go for a meal and we will evaluate the best photograph. After this, we will move back to Sitges walking and shooting again until the parking or train station.
Basic-advanced. As Iñaki will focus on the vision that each photographer has about the landscape, each attendant will be able to learn according to his photographic knowledge.
